Orphanages Closed by Ethiopian Government

19. July, 2011UncategorizedNo comments

To address the recent “Ethiopia Yahoo Group Concerns“, to date, no orphanages that West Sands Adoptions are working with have been shut down. Understand that Orphanages are always investigated and monitored by the Ethiopian Government. Shut downs happen all the time and children are relocated, by the Ethiopian government, to another licensed Orphanage. There is no reason to panic or cause panic for other families. This is part of the process, and no one wants to see a family lose a referral of a true orphan, especially the Ethiopian Government. If an Orphanage that West Sands is working with is closed by the Ethiopian Government, and your case will be affected by the closure, West Sands Adoptions will notify you right away.
